A common misconception is that Ballan District Health and Care is a private hospital serving only the interests of a select few.  

Ballan District Health and Care is in actual fact a community owned not for profit health service and all of our health and aged care services are available to everyone; public and private patients. This includes our aged care beds, community aged care support services, our 24 hours emergency stabilisation and all of our allied health services.

We are not for profit which means our aim is to provide as many services to you, free of charge. The health of our patients is most important to us.
