Ballan District Health and Care is committed to up skilling our staff with continuous education and training programs.

Our framework of education and training inspires best practice and the aspiration of becoming a leader for all those who work in health.

Ballan District Health and Care also have a learning and development program for work experience and internships. We have three dedicated training rooms in our Centre for Community Health which are used for the training of medical students, registrars, psychology and nursing students and provide a vital link with tertiary training institutions such as Melbourne Universities, Ballarat University and local schools.

Ballan District Health and Care is committed to building the rural health workforce by training up the next generation of rural doctors, dentists and allied health practitioners.
